I attended Daisy Hill hospital originally when I was transferred to Craigavon. I was waiting nearly 14 hrs for the ambulance to take me to Craigavon hospital. When I arrived I got straight onto the cardiology ward as a bed had been organised for me. This was a massive relief as I had feared I would have to experience another long wait. The staff are fantastic and I have no complaints to make about them. They really couldn't do enough for you and I was never afraid to ask for anything I needed. They were extremely kind and I am grateful to them for making this experience in hospital more bearable.
My main complaint is the food which I can only describe as a disaster. It has been inedible on some occasions. I would love if they had salads or ham and cheese sandwiches. I enjoy fresh foods instead of hot dinners especially in this weather. They only provide a choice of wheaton bread with soup and I would appreciate a greater variety of bread. I wouldn't be so critical had the hospital not been so strict, as ordinarily I could bring food in from home.
Apart from the food everything else has been positive.
