I’m truly staggered at how bad this practice is. Appointments are no longer an option, you get advised a GP will call on a day, no time given. If you work and can’t answer your phone they don’t accommodate this with a given time, not even an AM or PM option.
I visited 3 times for an eye complaint, saw 3 different health care providers, but not a GP. As things deteriorated I called the NHS helpline and was sent to a different surgery, that surgery sent me straight to GWH hospital as an emergency as my eye condition was serious. I now have to return to the hospital every 3 months for reviews as the condition was missed by the practice.
It is impossible to see a GP, it is impossible to speak to a GP.
The receptionist are trying their best but clearly are very stressed.
The time on hold is almost an hour, it’s brought me to tears of frustration.
I understand we are in a pandemic, however, I nearly lost my sight. Health issue continue, if I can see three health practitioners, then surely a GP could see me when clearly things were not getting better.
I wonder when this practice will have an overhaul and be brought back up to an acceptable level. They were once the flagship surgery, a centre of medical care. Now I fear having to contact them as the service is so poor.
This surgery is in desperate need of someone taking control and getting it back in order.
