My GP practice referred me to Minor injuries with a nasty eye infection. I had an appointment but would not have liked to wait around as the dept was busy. A practice nurse took all my details, had a look and called in a doctor who was on site. Prescribed antibiotics (oral) and antibiotics eye drops. Both professionals were very thorough.
