About: Craigavon Area Hospital / General Medicine (2 south)

I came into the emergency department but the air conditioning had broken so it was roasting. I had to wait 12 hours before getting a bed, I was brought into a tiny room with no windows with no air-conditioning so it wasn't great. The young nurses in the emergency department earn their money. They are so busy but amazing. They're rushed but still get to every patient.

I really can't complain about being here. Everyone is lovely, however I haven't seen a doctor today. I feel like I have to ask to find out most of the information I need as they don't keep me well updated.
I do understand what they tell me but I have to ask them the same question twice to make sure.
The ward is cleaned 3 times a day which is nice to see. It is very warm. We aren't allowed to use fans but we really need them. The food is excellent.
