About: Maternity care / 2 East Midwifery Led Unit (MLU)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My experience in the Midwifery Led Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital has been overall positive. The staff have been great, especially midwives Karina and student midwife Rebekah were excellent. I had been slightly apprehensive going to the MLU as I had never been there before, but it is a more relaxed atmosphere than the delivery suite and they gave you time to chill with the baby before taking you away to get stitches etc. The room and facilities have been clean, tidy and easy to use. The food has been great and we've been well looked after.
