"I haven't had the best hospital experience"

I haven't had the best experience in hospital but I think that's largely due to the fact that being here was so unexpected and I have been in a lot of pain. Initially I had to wait over an hour and a half in the ambulance before I got into hospital and then I was very uncomfortable in A&E as I was just lying there for hours. 

I got sent home after my initial treatment but then I came back in and the surgery I was told I needed was postponed and I was left waiting for a few more days before I could even get that. 

I haven't been kept well informed and it takes so long for information to get back to you and often it takes a long time to get any answers to my questions. An example of this is that I was told I could go home today but the doctor told me earlier that it'll be at least another three hours before I can actually get home.

The ward is kept very clean but it is so warm and that can be very unpleasant indeed. 

The nurses have been nice but I think my whole experience has been tainted by the fact that it's been so unexpected and that's been hard to deal with at times.
