"No care"

About: The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust

Went to A and E after 3 seizures at night. Husband brought me so not to wait for an ambulance and drain on them. I sat there for 6 hours before I was seen by a doctor, by which, that time, I was ok. Sat in the waiting room having after affects of a seizure is humiliating. I was called in and out of rooms which was drainng and talk about the most uncomfortable chairs in the world- the chairs in the waiting room are numbing, hard and just plain horrible. I needed help there and then. Next time I need help, I'll call the paramedics. There was one nurse who booked everyone in. And I think any doctor which was there over night was only in the emergency room. No others. People only started getting seen from 8am. Disgusting. No more excuses. RSH needs serious money pumped into it and all staff to be taught how to show care and empathy...not just a person ticking boxes and you are just there wasting their time

Just shows how bad the a and E waiting room was, I watched two people leave after having enough of waiting.
