About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 1 East Gynaecology Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU) Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I arrived into the emergency department and then I moved to AMU and then to this ward. 

The staff were amazing and were able to identify my issue straight away and carried out tests really fast and sorted me out with the right medication to fix my kidney problem. They had me feeling better within 2 days.

If I need anything they are there straight away. They are always over here checking that I am ok. The nurses are so caring and empathetic. They keep me well informed and explain everything in layman's terms. Bernice in the emergency department stood out for me- she was absolutely brilliant. All of the staff are very professional.

The staff are so busy but yet put so much care and time into treating each individual. 

The food is grand and the wards have been cleaned regularly. 

The toilets and showers have been clean and they are accessible. 

I only have positive things to say about my stay. 

Thank you to all those working in the hospital.
