About: Maternity care / 2 West Maternity

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I only came in last night.  I am nearly 34 weeks and am being induced on sunday so it was a bit of a shock!

Everybody has been lovely and so attentive.

They have kept me well informed and well monitored throughout the night.

I am allowed to go for walks which is nice to get some fresh air as it is quite warm in here.

The ward seems to be brilliant and the communication between everyone is really good. Everyone explains everything simply to me so that I can understand it all. I am happy about this as it was all a bit of a shock being in here so early. I didn't really know what was going on but they have helped me understand this.

The food is ok.

The ladies changing the beds in this ward are lovely and keep me going.
