About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

(as a relative),

My relative was in hospital  3 weeks ago. From day 1 we were kept informed any anxieties  were quickly dispelled. The ward was clean all staff very gracious and Friendly  even though they were rushed off their feet. All staff doctors    nurses  cleaners and porters an absolute  credit to the hospital. Thank you 👏👍😉

Many thanks for posting such positive feedback on your relative's time in ward 24.

It really does mean a lot to the staff on the ward to hear that you felt that all staff were gracious and friendly although the ward is extremely busy.

I am so glad that staff made you feel at ease whilst your relative was an inpatient in the ward by ensuring you were kept informed.

I will be sure to pass this feedback to all members of the multidisciplinary team.
