I attended the Unit and was seen and treated by Nurse David and his assistant Ethan. David welcomed me on arrival, and explained the treatment I was about to receive. I was to have a local anaesthetic, and a basel cell carcinoma was to be removed. Ethan made sure I was comfortable, and both chatted to me as the procedure took place. They ensured I experienced the minimum discomfort and pain during the operation.
