My care under these services was so poor that I moved to access services elsewhere. My friend is under SHSCT and was released from hospital weeks ago and is incredibly unwell, but has had no follow up care, including assistance to ensure she can access her medication.
She is deteriorating because the team won't do anything until she has a care coordinator. They won't give her a timescale. No interim measures have been made that could - such as a support worker, psychiatrist review as she is unhappy with her medication, or access to a social worker for her complex home life. Her life was suddenly shattered by a sudden onset of a lifelong psychiatric but weekly calls are all she is being given. Nobody has discussed her diagnosis with her, and when expressing that she had anxiety attacks over using the phone, she is simply repeatedly told that it's her only option to access crisis support.
"I thought services would be more attentive"
