Over the last couple of years my dads health has been deteriorating with being diagnosed with a few health conditions, some more life threating than others. He's has been attending Doctors appointments at his GP surgery and the attitude that staff have towards him is poor, such as my dad feeling like he a burden to staff and the medical practice this has made him not wanting to attend doctors appointment, call for appointments and this has caused his health to deteriorate rapidly. This has caused me a substantial amount of stress as my dad doesn't feel he's sick enough to attend appointments due to the attitude that staff have towards him this includes reception staff and doctors.
I called personally to the medical practice to raise concern but I feel that my concern raised have not been met, being a health care professional myself ethical standards are not being met and person centre care is not the centre of my dads care. When I raised my concerns to the doctor they were nice and polite to me but when my dad calls the attitude changes causing him to feel the way he does.
