"Unexplained illness"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Hospital at Home

(as a service user),

Referred by consultant and GP  as I was suffering from delirium and lethargy and an adverse reaction to antibiotic. The Hospital at Home took over and after several tests and change of antibiotics and closely following up over several days set me on the road to recovery.

I do not have the words to describe how impressed I was with their professionalism and their interest in my well-being, which immediately put me at ease. They are a great team and I am very grateful for this service.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch to let us know that our Hospital At Home team were able to help you back on the road to recovery. It is wonderful to hear stories like this as our team try very hard to be able to help patients feel safe and cared for when they are feeling vulnerable. The team are very experienced and knowledgeable in dealing with Acute illnesses, and I will ensure that they see your kind and inspirational message.
