Following the birth of my first child during the pandemic, I started to feel very anxious and developed panic attacks and a constant feeling of being on edge. The physical feeling of the anxiety was overwhelming, along with regularly not feeling good enough. I started lacking confidence and felt like an imposter in my own life.
Natasha from Ealing IAPT was a fantastic well-being practitioner who was incredibly thoughtful in her manner and gave me the room to speak about my thoughts in detail. She was methodical in her approach and gave lots of excellent practical examples to help me understand how I can change my thinking and thought processes.
After all of the sessions with Natasha I have felt much better within myself and have not suffered from a panic attack. There has been huge improvements in my self esteem too and Natasha kindly gave me book recommendations on how I can continue learning about this area of my mental health.
Thank you Natasha for helping overcome this difficult period.
