"I was very anxious about the Covid-19 vaccine"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Covid Vaccination Programme

(as a service user),

Entered the vaccine centre and was greeted by very friendly volunteers.

I am very anxious around needles and everyone was amazing. The volunteers noticed this and sped up my experience, I was signed straight in and then taken straight to a cubicle.

The volunteer stayed with me the whole time and spoke to me. When the nurse was explaining everything she was very positive and the injection was hardly felt.

Thank you everyone!

Dear Clifton28

Thank you for taking time to leave us feedback following your visit to our vaccination clinic and apologies for the time it has taken to respond to you.

It is lovely to hear that you had a great experience with both our volunteers and nurses. They are very good at spotting an anxious patient and I am glad that they were able to support you and make the visit as stress free as possible.

I hope you have recovered well.

With best wishes

Lisa
