"Out of Hours"

About: General Practices in NHS Highland NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as a service user),

During my holiday to Tiree I pulled /ripped a muscle chasing a dog and called NHS 24 to get this checked out. Both NHS 24 and the out of hours GP service were excellent and very helpful. I’m away home with crutches which I will get delivered back to   the Island.

Dear Falky

How unfortunate that you should injure yourself whilst on holiday. A muscle injury can be extremely painful so you have my sympathy. I hope you are on the mend and that your injury didn't spoil your holiday too much. I also hope you managed to catch the dog!

I'm so pleased to see your positive feedback for our staff here at NHS 24 and also for the Out of Hours GP. It would be good to share your story directly with the staff member(s) who managed your call to 111, so if you would be kind enough to contact me directly, I would be able to do so. You can get on 07814 299944 or by email at Patient.Expereince@nhs24.scot.nhs.uk

Good of you also to arrange to return the crutches. That is extremely thoughtful.

With best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Shona
