"Fantastic staff"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Neely Ward

(as the patient),

I had to have abdominal surgery for the removal of a 20cm ovarian cyst at 21yo a few months ago. The staff went above and beyond for me including offering to go to the shop to get me juice I liked rather than water when I wasn’t drinking much and brushing my hair after I had been sick. When I fainted and later threw up the day after surgery, the nurses took fantastic care of me and made me feel comfortable. I was almost sad to leave as I was having good fun with them. In particular Hannah, Natalie and Mark were fantastic company and help. I had a very, very positive experience and have nothing bad to say about this ward. Fantastic staff during one of the most difficult times I’ve experienced.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It is very heartening to hear such positive feedback. I shall pass on your comments to all the staff but especially those you have mentioned.

'Going above and beyond', as you say, is at the core of our care on Neely Ward. Thank you for highlighting so positively the experience that you had. It will mean such a lot to the staff.

I hope you are recovering well from your procedure. Take care.
