Seeked help regards to reducing drinking , never tried any service before.Contacted gp who put me in touch with cgl . its been very helpful so far i was very apprehensive at first and missed a few appointments but finally managed to attend my first meeting with the nurse michelle and mark . i now feel so much better that im not alone and people are going through the same thing as me .i feel more positive and looking forward to joining in groups . and feeling more myself again.

Hi powlag

Firstly its great that your GP referred you to us and more importantly that you came. Sadly many people don't. Its scary isn't it, facing up to the hard work ahead and its not uncommon to struggle at the start. But once you get going as you have found you will get more involved and hopefully see lots of benefits to the decision you have made. Look forward to hearing how things go for you.
