"Infusion appointments"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

My wife has been under the Rheumatoid  department of this hospital for many years .

At the moment she has been waiting for an appointment to have her infusion treatment .

she has been contacted over the past few months regards her being ok to have it, unfortunately she has tried several times to contact the nurse who arranges this and left messages for her but doesn’t receive a response and is stil waiting for her infusion treatment .

They have cleared it is ok to have the treatment as it is very important to make sure items safe for her body to receive it.

In the meantime she has to suffer the pain in not receiving the treatment.

It has been nearly impossible to get a response from the departments involved .

You can only leave messages if you can’t get through on the phone, there is no way of emailing or messaging them which is not acceptable .

Please contact our PALS team (patient advise and liaison service) to explain the problems your wife has faced and provide her name and date of birth and the PALS team will be happy to help you.
