"Terrible care"

I arrived for an appointment for a blood pressure check (which was a follow up to a previous appointment as my blood pressure was considered high), and was told ‘your appointment was cancelled as the nurse called in sick today’. I asked why I hadn’t been contacted and was told ‘your name was on the list to be contacted’, but no one had actually made the call. I had rearranged work commitments to attend this appointment and remain concerned about my blood pressure.
