"Amazing treatment"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

I arrived at the Ophthalmology emergency clinic on Monday at 4.30pm and by 7.00pm I was in theatre undergoing retinal repair! Having been very upset to learn that I needed this, I was treated with the utmost care and respect by everyone I came across and I can't thank you all enough. All the staff involved had to stay hours past their normal finishing time to make sure I had the surgery as they felt it was necessary for the sake of my sight. This is about the 5th lot of eye surgery I have needed at Cheltenham Hospital over the last 7 years and every time I have been overwhelmed by the professionalism, empathy and incredible treatment I have received. Thank you so much.
