"The best thing ever"

About: South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust / Wellness Recovery Network

(as a service user),

After having a breakdown in February 2020 which I am still trying to recover fully from, my CPN suggested I try the recovery college.  I can hand on heart say it has been the best thing ever. The tutors and peer advocates are so supportive  and encouraging.

They do a large range of courses all of which give opportunity to participate fully or you can sit and just take it all in.

The main benefit is being able to take part via zoom which has been perfect as I am still struggling going out of the house.

I have nothing but praise for everything the college does. Especially as a lot of the tutors have come from having had mental health problems of their own, so can share their experiences and suggest different things to try that may help.

I wouldn’t hesitate to point someone who’s struggling to sign up for some of their courses they are that good.
