"In Safe Hands"

About: Wycombe Hospital

Unfortunately I suffered a stroke ( blood clot in the brain) and after calling 111 was taken by the paramedics to the stroke unit at Wycombe. From the moment I was admitted to when I left some 26 hours later I found the medical attention second to none. The whole of the stroke unit appeared to work as a team and everyone was friendly from the cleaners, porters, care assistants, nurses and doctors. I was really cared for whilst I was there.Very well done and a big thank you. I felt very safe when I was there and everyone was a credit to our fantastic National Health Service.
