(as a service user),

Four weeks ago i walked through the doors of GCL, with encouragement from my sister. It was a very nervous and frightening feeling until Steve one of the key workers greeted me with such a big welcoming smile , filled in the nessesary form and went through all the services provided by CGL. I instantly felt welcomed and cared for and most importantly felt i had choose the correct service which could help me change my life.

Hi Precious21

Can I say that is a wonderful thing to say. Firstly, well done to your sister encouraging you to get support but more so you going for it and walking through the door. The smile is the start. I know you will know this but of course it is hard work managing your own recovery but you can do it. You are in the right place to help you on your way. It is so pleasing to hear that this happened for you.

Hopefully in a few weeks time you can come back on here and post an update!!
