After numerous calls to ADOC and the GP about my daughter and her worrying symptoms, Sister Gardiner called me and agreed my daughter needed reviewed after I had contacted the GP practice concerned again.
She was so patient, kind and reassuring with myself and my 1 year old and after 3 days of high temps, fast breathing, a decline in my babies health and concerned calls to the out of hours team, Sister Gardiner quickly diagnosed my baby with a chest infection and got her some antibiotics.
I know this is her job and she does things like this for people every day, but she really listened to me- mum to mum, and agreed to check my daughter out again despite her already being checked the previous day by ADOC.
My daughter was born 3 months early and due to the prematurity of her lungs at birth, a simple chest infection gone untreated any longer than we had already left it could have resulted in a trip to the hospital.
I am incredibly thankful to you Sister Gardiner, within a day my daughter has already turned a corner and back to her usual cheeky self.
"Excellent care for my baby"
