As a first time Mum I had no idea how complex and difficult breast feeding could be. I started running into problems and the BF support team were right out to see me and help. 

Although my issues continued, their support did not end. They exhausted all options with me, were a shoulder to cry on, were on the other end of the phone if I needed and pointed me in all the right directions of the medical care I needed.

Without them I would have been pretty clueless, and think sadly I might have stopped my breast feeding journey too soon.

Dear RachaelK,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience of support from the breastfeeding support workers. Being a new mum is a busy time so we really do appreciate it. I will be sure to share your feedback with the team.

I am really pleased that the team were able to help you along the way. Breastfeeding can bring many challenges, especially for first time mums and there often isn't a quick fix solution. It sound like you had more than your fair share of challenges. We aim to work with new mums to help them find what works for them and I am glad that supprt helped you continue your breastfeeding journey.
