I had a badly broken leg during accident and ended up in Whipps Cross. A&E staff was helpful and knowledge and from then it was a disaster one on a top of another.
On the ward they messed up my drug chart. When I ask for painkillers I have to wait 12 h to get anything. Disaster when you think I had broken leg in 3 places. After surgery the cast was causing problems. Although I told them on the Sunday because I was already been in pain no one did anything. It felt like no one cared.
I said the pain is getting worse on the Monday morning when the consultant came. Nothing done until 8pm when they finally cut it open to release a pressure. Two days and 2 nights in pain and no one seemed to care.
On a discharge they gave me only paracetamol to help with pain. I couldn't believe it. When I question on it I was told its a doctor decision not the nurses. When I ask to talk to doctor any one. Nurse told me there is no one. I couldn't believe there is no doctor at 6pm in whole hospital. From my experience I cannot recommend this hospital.
