"Over a week with no response"

About: NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde / Covid Vaccination Programme

(as the patient),

Horrendous experience.

Second vaccine due this week and I have been advised that I have been missed and it will take GG&C up to 4 weeks to look at this which will take me to 16 weeks.   As I am CV my condition has suffered as a result of covid.  This time delay is not acceptable.  Others younger with me with no health issues have been vaccinated with 8 week gap, which is now JCVI guidance.   I am getting nowhere calling the vaccine helpline and completing forms.  On submission it says someone will be in contact in 72 hours.  I am over a week with no response or communication.

Dear Notatallinpressed01!

I am very sorry to hear about the delay regarding your 2nd vaccination and that you are still waiting for a response.

I would be grateful if you could email our personal details including your date of birth to PatientExperience@ggc.scot.nhs.uk? With your permission we will share your details with our colleagues in Public Health to get an update regarding your vaccination. (It would be helpful if you could include you username: Notatallinpressed01! in your email.)

Thank you

Nicole
