Had been in pain & unable to use right arm for months. Had telephone appt first then visited Physio Dept on 27th Jan.
My potential concerns about visit, being clinically vulnerable, were discussed and I felt confident to visit.
Covid protocols were explained well and the dept was well organised.
The consultation gave ample time to check me over and to diagnose condition. Potential treatments explained clearly as were the home exercises. So I left feeling less worried and that there were choices.
A few months on, I've been following exercise programme daily and have an almost full range of movement - though I think it best not to attempt any ironing! I can sleep at night and am off painkillers.
I was so pleased to get an appointment and advice especially given the constraints that Covid has wrought on NHS. I am a strong advocate for NHS having had such positive experiences with the many visits to all departments with my late Mum-she was one of the first tranche of nurses trained by NHS-and this experience didn't disappoint.
Thank you for helping me get myself back to fitness again.
"Thank you Physio dept"
