I wrote about a visit to PRI to have some tests done because of Post Menopausal Bleeding. I got a phone call today regards the test and the nurse telling me that some abnormal cells have been found and I now have to go to Ninewells for more god knows what!! The reason I am writing this is to say to the nurse who I had the first contact with is PLEASE don't reassure patients that you can usually tell by looking at a biopsy that you have just extracted from my uterus that you thought everything was ok and that you are not usually wrong. I am not an idiot in thinking you could be wrong well in a way you were wrong and right.
but I am now worrying myself sick about what's ahead with the next pocking and prodding around. Can I suggest you just do what you have to do and leave it at that and don't give false hopes to anyone else?
