I just wanted to take time to thank the staff of Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital in Belfast for their outstanding care and service. From my initial 12 week scan and booking appointment with a lovely midwife Shauna and consultant Niamh to our amazing birth experience via c- section and our post natal care in Johnstone House we could not give high enough praise or enough thanks to all of the staff that we encountered. Providing such a positive experience which made us feel safe and reassured throughout is no easy feat at the best of times but in the midst of the nightmare of covid and and all of the additional stress that brings it was simply amazing. I will never forget any of the wonderful people who looked after me and my baby in ante natal care and post natally. The continuity of care was outstanding and the genuine care shown by all meant so much. We are so unbelievably lucky to have this outstanding service available to us. We also had excellent ante natal and post natal care from the wonderful midwives at the Downe Hospital again they created a calm and safe environment and their post natal care was second to none. It made such a difference to our first weeks. Their kindness and support will never be forgotten. Thank you all so much.
