Following a routine eye test at my local opticician, I was told I needed to see a ophthalmologist. I referral was made by my GP and I was seen at the eye department (out patients) within 2 weeks. I have since had 3 further appointments to check everything was ok. I have been so impressed with the department, from the receptionist to the consultants. The department is so efficient and I have been so impressed by the professionalism of the team. Big thank you, obviously a busy department but one with a big heart.
