"Great practice"

About: Southampton General Hospital

I arrived with serious pain from an abscess in my upper right 6 and 7 molars, having been referred by my dentist who had been unable to treat me.

After passing through A&E I was seen by a nurse and then a member of the dental service who looked after me with great care and sympathy.

I then went through to see a dentist and her colleague.

They provided an exemplary service to a 68 year old man who has originally been unable to have my own dentist give me an injection because of the pain.

With great calmness, sympathy, encouragement and care they were able to give me injections and remove two teeth one with a large abscess on it.

I have always had wonderful treatment at the hospital and this was no less.

Please pass my thanks and gratitude to all the staff involved but especially the dentist and her dental nurse.
