"Disgraceful"

After recent bowel cancer surgery I was advised to speak to my gp by the cancer nurses, I eventually got through after 35 minutes to be told I have to ring back after 2pm, this is not stated on the answer message they just keep you holding, I am in extreme pain and unable to do what I’ve been told to do because I can’t get past the unhelpful reception staff, disgusting service

We are really sorrry to hear you are not happy with our service. Our telephone lines are extremely busy, our staff are doing their best to answer as quickly as they can. There is a high volume of calls at the moment as patients are ringing for their COVID vaccine.
