"CBT on anxiety"

About: Hounslow IAPT

(as the patient),

Therapy sessions are finished and I feel I can manage my anxiety which has started soon after I gave birth and I came back to Uk after being back home with my parents for baby’s christening. 

Seeing me alone (my husband working 6days/week) and feeling scared something might happen to my baby I became extremely anxious. It’s such a great feeling to be strong enough to deal with anxiety episodes. 

CBT truly helped me and thanks to Mrs Priya- CBT therapist, who supported and understood me, I feel better today!

Thank you for posting your feedback and sharing your experiences on the Care Opinion site. Your experiences of post-natal anxiety are commonly experienced by many, so I am so glad that after receiving CBT in Hounslow IAPT, you feel more able to cope with your anxiety. It is really good to hear that Priya was supportive and understanding throughout the process. I hope that other will feel able to reach out for support should they need to during the post-natal period. It sounds like you are on a new, positive path and I wishing you the best of luck and happiness with your new baby.
