This week I attended both CAH maternity outpatients and the MAU at Daisy Hill.
On Tuesday we attended CAH for our 20 week scan for our first baby. My husband and I were of course anxious that the scan would go well and our baby was developing well and healthily. The sonographer who performed the scan was a lady named Jill and I wanted to share how lovely she was. Jill was friendly and professional and explained everything to us throughout the scan, always checking both my husband and I were ok. Jill made this a really nice experience for us both.
I also attended Daisy Hill MAU on Thursday morning following an investigative referral from my GP the same morning. Here I was mostly cared for by Patricia and Teresa - both of whom I could not praise enough! I witnessed a really busy MAU with lots happening. Despite what seemed to be a hectic and challenging morning Patricia and Teresa were both so lovely, caring and compassionate. They kept me updated while I waited and looked after everyone else so well too. A real credit to the Trust and to HSCNI. These ladies demonstrated all the HSC values and more. Thank you so much for looking after me so well and with such kindness. Thanks also to the very busy consultant who examined me and prescribed treatment.
"A really nice experience"
