I initially received my appointment for my first Covid vaccination in February at the Louisa Jordan. As I live in Paisley and do not have a car I was fortunate that I could reschedule my appointment for roughly the same time as the Glasgow one. The staff at the Lagoon Centre were very friendly and efficient in directing people to the he correct place. I had a lovely staff member give me my injection and I never felt a thing. He made sure I knew all about the side effects and what to do if I had any. I was in and out quickly and as I had the AstraZeneca one did not need to wait.
My second appointment arrived and once again it was for Glasgow but I rescheduled for the Lagoon. This time I had a really nice woman who chatted away. The injection again was painless and I was soon on my way. I get B12 injections so I am used to needles but the two people I experienced were so good I never felt a thing. Luckily for me I had absolutely no side effects. As I have health problems the past year has seen me not venture out much for fear of catching something but now I feel so much better having had both vaccinations. The staff at the Lagoon in Paisley are doing a wonderful job and they are helping people get a sense of normality again. I am extremely grateful that I have been able to get both doses of the vaccine.
