I am angry with the way he has been or not been treated by staff in wishaw general. My father has Parkinson’s and ulcerative colitis. One Dr took him off his medication that he was on and promised another medication about 12 weeks ago.
Since then we sent samples as requested and waited and waited. Phoned and left messages to no avail. My father is unable to sleep. He is unable to leave the house as he cannot control his bowels and has lost so much weight he is skin and bones. Our GP provided us with assistance last week and my dad was admitted to hospital yesterday a barrage of tests were done and he has just phoned to say that he has to go home.
Test results will be sent to the Dr at Wishaw and a decision will be made from there. My dad is 72, lives on his own. My sister and I support him where we can but he is very vulnerable and sending him home when he is this unwell is appalling.
