About: Cross Hills Group Practice

Called to make an appointment and after being on hold for over 30 mins I spoke to someone who couldn't fit me in on the day which I understand (to a point). But then I was told I could use the push doctor service and that I would be sent a link to my phone from which I would be able to access adequate healthcare. The link never came and I am now faced with bacterial tonsillitis which is causing me considerable discomfort and no access to anything other than the prospect of another 30 mins on hold. I have a job and a family. I do not have spare time to sit on hold on the phone and on the website there is no mention of the push doctor service. I am not what you would call computer savvy but I shouldn't have to be to access medical attention. In all honestly I would warn people away because the waiting times are not practical if you are in pain. I realise the constraints you are working in but whatever the problems are the patients shouldn't be the ones holding the sick bag. Just wanted to share that. Don't over promise and under deliver.
