"Painful finger"

I attended Chard MIU earlier this week re left index finger paronychia.

The finger was painful and I was concerned about the infection.  On the Sunday the infection was drained, and I was advised to return if the infection tracked up the arms.  On the next day that was the case so I returned.  The infection was examined and drained, because of the tracking it was decided to refer me to the Orthopaedic unit at Yeovil Hospital and I was advised to attend A&E at YDH with a note that I was 'Orthopaedic expected.  The care I received at Chard MIU was excellent,  I was seen by a nurse almost immediately on arrival; the nurses were kind, considerate, respectful, friendly, and explained fully at each stage what was going on and why.

I cannot praise the care I received highly enough, thank you so much.
