"Poor service"

About: Staveleigh Medical Centre

Having a chronic illness that requires me trying different medications has proved problematic with this surgery as they have repeatedly got my dosage wrong when issuing prescriptions, even when my hospital doctors have written it in the most simplest of terms. I am constantly having to contact them to amend the mistakes, and there's usually no one at the reception desk to answer the phone meaning you're left for on average 20 mins waiting!

Thank you for your feedback. Please could you contact the surgery to discuss your case.

The practice has multiple safety features in place to ensure that correct medication prescriptions are issued, including requests from hospitals.

We apologise that at peak times we may experience a large number of calls to our surgery which can increase the time patients may have to wait on the phone. The practice is continuing to monitor and mitigate this, including introducing alternative contact methods such as providing patients the ability to contact us online through our website without the need to call.

Thank you for your comments, we have taken your feedback onboard.
