"Not a great practice,horrible experience "

About: Chatfield Medical Centre

Never had a problem during my whole pregnancy...until 8 weeks vaccination for my baby on 11th May @ 9:30 - nurse was heartless, passive aggressive ,could not wait to get us out of her room, talking to me whilst baby was crying (for obvious reasons) ,so I ,of course ,could not hear her.She then told me to wear mask when I go out, the mask which I only pulled down to comfort my crying baby.Doctor we saw after was rude, annoyed that I did not see our name coming up on monitor (the reason being - monitor was off), must’ve been such an effort for her to come out of her room. She was then coming in and out of her room, leaving the door close on its own, which resulted in making a loud banging noise every time she entered or came out of the room. Not ideal for babies, they do not like loud noises and especially being shaken by the vaccines, just very heartless, cold approach by a medical professional. Nurse told me to take her nappy off, Doctor looked at me like I was crazy for taking them off and asked me to put them back on. She then weighed my baby with the nappies, not sure that is correct. She then did not record the weight and measurements in our red book.Despite the Doctor handling the baby the right way it was with as less care as possible . The whole appointment felt like being on a conveyor belt, the nurse and the doctor could not wait to get us out. The fact that it was my check up too and I was not asked a single question about how I am doing is the least of my worry. Overall, horrible experience. The vision of us having have to go back in 4 weeks time is horrible....Never dealt with the above nurse and doctor before ,everybody else I have seen prior were lovely.
