About: Stopsley Village Practice

You wait over an hour for an appointment to be told there are not any and have to call NHS direct for one.

This is after I used the online system to get my medication to be told I needed to speak to a doctor but could not give me an appointment.

You then call NHS to be told the doctors have closed their system. In the end NHS direct prescribed me the medication I needed but what a faff.

I also have other complaints but they are of a more clinical nature so I won’t discuss them here.

To be honest if I was not moving I would be changing doctors.

I have lived around the country in my time and both myself and my husband say this must be the worst system we have ever come across. Some of the doctors are ok but seem to be working by numbers rather than treating you like an individual. Not all symptoms are the same.

The Asthma nurses are really nice and helpful if you can get through to them but at the moment this seems impossible.
