I am all for digital working but sometimes just asking someone how they are, would probably give you a lot more of an idea as to why they have requested an appointment. The hostile attitude of poorly trained argumentative receptionists. Clinician that have very little inter-personal skills is something you really need to look at.
Lack of history taking that links to a problem, rush, rush, rush! I along with a lot of clinical staff can do an eConsult/telephone triage within 5 minutes safely whilst actually listening to the patient this should not always be done in isolation of other problems. I have never felt so unheard and as I have already alluded I have 40 years of NHS clinical experience across the sector. Goodness knows what people 'not in the know' must feel like.
I will be actively seeking out when your next CQC visit is and will be making my views very clear to both them NHSE/I. What a sad day this is for me! Next step find a new practice.
