My husband had to have a colonoscopy and we would like to thank the staff for their kindness and friendliness. They put my husband at ease and also myself. Although obviously I couldn’t wait with him the lovely lady at the reception told me where I could wait and get a coffee.
My husband told me that the care and compassion shown to him before, during and after the procedure where second to non. Everything was explained as to what they had found - thankfully nothing serious.
Once my husband had came out and was back on the ward the lovely lady in reception came to find me and tell me he was out and having a coffee. That meant a lot and she definitely went over and above and I was grateful and thankful to know that the procedure was over.
My husbands after care and explanation of his condition was explained to him thoroughly.
If anyone has to go through this procedure at west Cumberland please rest assured you are in great hands.
"Amazing staff"
