After several weeks in Monklands hospital ( and a day in Hairmyres) for investigation of breathlessness -, it was discovered that my aortic stenosis was worse and that I also had some heart artery damage. I have undergone X-ray, MRI, echocardiogram, angiogram, respiratory testing, blood testing, urine testing. I was referred to the Golden Jubilee with the prospect of surgical intervention, outlined by Monklands and by Golden Jubilee. I have been carefully isolating myself for six weeks to ensure I caught no infection ( I am Covid vaccinated and dental checked) it came as a complete shock today to find that the surgery will not go ahead as anticipated and I am being returned to the care of the consultants at Monklands hospital with absolutely no idea as to when I will be seen. I am totally stressed out, worried constantly about my health and feel as if I am being labelled as a Munchausen sufferer, when in fact I am living my days in fear. I cannot understand all the delays, talks at cross purposes, promises which do not materialise, when I have done everything to keep myself in best health under the circumstances. I am alone and feel unwanted by the medical profession.
"Lack of understanding"
