"Absolutely Brilliant "

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Following a telephone appointment with my GP practice I was sent to Hampton Wick Health Centre for a consultation for chest pains, arm pains and tingling in y right arm. I was recommended to go to A&E for and immediate blood test and ECG as I have family history of heart conditions and my age. I attended the UCC enter at West Mid and the whole experience was absolutely exemplary from the initial booking in to the triage, the nurse who took blood samples and the first ECG, the consultation with the doctor who most thorough asking about my symptoms, the second ECG, the X-ray team and finally the final ECG. As it happens there was no indication of heart issues and I apologised for taking their time. I was told no problem. With the current situation as we know the NHS has been under totally unprecedented stress for well over a year but they seem to be able to keep it together. During my visit all the staff from arrival to departure were absolutely brilliant. I am so appreciative how I was treated today I can’t thank you enough. From my management experience I always remember something I overheard was reviewing a company in our group was “when I do anything right nobody says anything but when I do anything wrong I don’t hear the last of it”. Our NHS the highest of standards and is not I fallible but had colossal task 24 hours a day to deal with which before the pandemic we took for granted. All I can say is thank you.
