(as a relative),

The nurses from Antrim Health centre attended my Dad from September 2020 when he had an antisickness driver put in for severe vomiting due to terminal oesophageal cancer, until he passed away in February 2021.

They came every day and filled it his driver had a chat, checked if Dad or Mum needed anything and nothing was to much hassle for them. They were amazing and great support to Dad and also Mum and my sister and myself.

In Dad's last week they were outstanding and honestly I don't know how as a family we would have coped without them as Dad wanted to stay at home. They went above and beyond and the care is outstanding. Dad was extremely fond of them all and they showed dignity and respect to him and always made him smile.

I just want to thank every one of them.

Dear Mel1471, my name is Colleen Morrison and I am the Community Locality Manager and Lead Nurse for Antrim and Ballymena. First of all I would like to pass on my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dad in February past. I can empathise with you on the loss of a parent and I know how hard this must be for you all. It is so thoughtful of you to provide such wonderful feedback on the Antrim South Team and I know that they will all be very touched by your kind words and comments. Being a district nurse places these staff in the very privileged position of sharing very personal moments and times with individuals and their families and to hear that this care was outstanding will mean such a lot to them. I am so glad that the care these staff gave to your dad enabled him to stay at home and I am very proud that you have been left with such a positive impression of our service.
