"Ambulance transfer and admission to A and E"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Accident & Emergency Raigmore Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics Scottish Ambulance Service

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the A and E Department a week ago with severe back pain which was finally diagnosed as a bulging disc in my lower back pressing on nerves causing the pain. I was given an emergency operation to relieve the pain.

Just want to thank the two ambulance men from DIngwall  for their care and attention when transporting me to Raigmore, all the staff in A and E and Ward 3A for looking after me so well

Dear Sandryr

Thank you for taking the time to post your fedback here on Careopinion. I am really sorry to read that you had reason to use our servies and those of the wider NHS. What you have described sounds really painful. I really hope the operation you have had has made a difference and I hope you are feeling much better now too.

I would really like to pass on your kind words to the crew who attended to you. If you would like me to do this for you, please may I ask you email our team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, address, date and rough time when we attended to you. It would really helpful if you make refernce to your CareOpinion username which will allow us to link up with this story

Thank you once again

Best Wishes

Lesley
